These are the ramblings of a happy Commodore computer user since 1983. I cover topics on both the C64 and C128, reviewing my favorite games and applications, as well as share some of my favorite memories from the 8-bit era. Playing Catch-up

I've been "gone", but now have some time for more leisurely activities again. Now I have to play some "catch up".

Just around Christmas time last year, a few things happened that caused me and my wife to change a few of our short and long term priorities (all for the good, thankfully). We've been quite focused on our new life objectives and are moving forward. Unfortunately, time with my Commodore 64 and related activities has taken a back-seat to everything else, but I now have some cycles to put towards one of my favorite hobbies again. So, I've been visiting some of my old C64 "haunts", like CommodoreServer, trying to catch up on what's been going on.

What really surprised me was learning about Jack Tramiel's recent passing. Very sad to hear about that - he certainly had an impact on my life and career. I just wish more people in the IT industry knew and understood more about what Jack did for the world of computers. My condolences goes out to his family. As a tribute, as soon as I get my C64 dusted off and powered up again, I'm going to play a bit of "Jack Attack".

After a bit of "Jack Attack", my next task with the 64 is to get familiar with my Commet64 again. I'm really looking forward to further development with the device, as (last I heard) getting the Commet64 to "capture" the drive function (so to speak) so multi-load programs could work from CommodoreServer. Not sure when/if this comes about, but it would be great to see.

Now, I have to go dowloand the few last shows of SlayRadio and give them a listen. It's been a while since I listened to some SID music.
