Speed testing GEOS on the C64

How long does it take the C64 to boot up the GEOS GUI operating system?

I created this video a while ago, in response to a conversation that took place at the office one day.  A few of my fellow co-workers in I.T. were discussing/complaining about how long it usually takes MS-Windows to boot up.

Even on modern hardware, it can take MS-Windows a few minutes to boot up into a workable state.  So, I thought I'd test my 1MHz Commodore 64 and see how long it took to boot up a GUI intereface, like GEOS.

Glad you enjoyed it! It amazes me to look back and see what we could do with much less computing power than today.
